International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) CDS International is now an official issuing office of the International Youth Travel Card. The card can be purchased directly through CDS International. Simply submit the following along with your application materials (or you may purchase the card at your orientation seminar or at any time during your program: Passport-sized photo with name written on the back; Payment of $22 (US)-- if purchasing with the application packet, please add to program administration fee; and Valid proof of age. Who is eligible for the IYTC? Anyone between the ages of 12 and 25 are eligible to purchase the card, regardless of citizenship or national origin. Individuals who wish to purchase the card must do so prior to their 26th birthday. To obtain your card, valid proof of age and a passport-sized photo are required. The card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please note: Many of the benefits attached to the IYTC card are age-based. If a cardholder turns 26 before their IYTC expiration date, they may become ineligible for some of the discounts offered with the card. However, the card will remain valid for the entire one year. What are some of the benefits of the IYTC? There are more than 28,000 discounts and services worldwide for cardholders, including reduced airfare, special rates on car rentals and hotel stays, discounts on bus and train tickets and reduced admission to many attractions such as water parks and museums. The Additionally, as a value-added benefit, the card comes with ISIConnect, a full-featured suite of communications services including voicemail, email, fax and reduced international calling services. What are valid proofs of age?
